Installation Made Simple

1. Ensure electrical components meet current standards (e.g., BS 7671, IEC 60364).
2. Turn off power at the meter before working with electrical equipment.
3. Clean the area around the downlight.
4. Apply primer and intumescent sealant to the cone base.
5. Feed wires through the top and seal with the provided sealant.
6. Fit the cone onto the substrate.
7. Allow sealant to dry before further work.
8. Fit insulation against and on top of the loft cone.
