The Grundfos ALPHA3 25-60 130 is a high efficiency canned-rotor circulator designed for circulating liquids in heating systems. With its advanced energy efficiency index (EEI) and built-in Bluetooth radio, it enables users to control the pump with a smart device through the Grundfos GO Remote App. This app also provides step by step assistance for configuration, maintenance and commissioning. Moreover, the AUTOADAPT function integrated in radiator and underfloor mode ensures optimal comfort with minimal energy consumption by automatically adjusting the performance to the actual heat demand and system size. The ALPHA3 also communicates with the Grundfos GO Balance App for easy hydronic balancing.

The AUTOADAPT feature of the Grundfos ALPHA3 pump finds settings that provide optimal comfort with minimal energy consumption, optimizing commissioning time and making it safe and easy. It offers radiator mode with AUTOADAPT, ideal for two-string radiator heating systems; underfloor mode with AUTOADAPT, great for underfloor heating systems; combined radiator and underfloor mode for combination systems. In scheduling and summer mode, a realtime clock allows selection of when the pump should operate to save energy. The pump is operated from the Grundfos GO Remote App featuring a simple user interface, alarm and warning log with assistance via Grundfos Go Remote, no external motor protection required reducing installation time, high-torque start improving startup under harsh conditions, and dry-run protection during startup and normal operation.

The Grundfos ALPHA3 pump is designed for maintenance-free operation with a canned-rotor design and robust components. It is equipped with an ALPHA plug for fast electrical installation, insulating shells to minimize heat loss in the system, and three control modes (proportional-pressure, constant-pressure, constant-curve) with incremental set point adjustment. The display shows power consumption in Watts or flow in m3/h, while LEDs indicate operating status. Its long life is further enhanced by the pump’s self-venting system and its integrated control box, which fits into most common installations. Additionally, the pump head, motor and bearings are all lubricated by the pumped liquid without the need for a shaft seal. Finally, all parts are made of cast iron and electrocoated to resist corrosion.
