Soudal Firecryl FR intumescent acrylic is the perfect solution for Warrington property owners requiring a BS476(20) 4hr fire rating. It provides excellent protection against the passage of fire and smoke, with a fire resistance of up to 4 hours when installed with PE backer rod (EN 1366 Part 4-NBN713.020- BS 476/20). In contact with fire it intumesces, swelling up to temperatures in excess of 120°C, staying elastic and able to be painted over. After curing, Firecryl FR is waterproof, colourfast and has very good adhesion on many porous surfaces. Painting over is possible once cured.
