Gyproc - 12.5mm Plasterboard
Gyproc WallBoard is a general purpose plasterboard suitable for most applications and use with Gyproc partition, wall lining and ceiling systems where basic fire, structural and acoustic levels are required. Suitable for direct decoration or Gyproc plaster finish.

Cutting
This product may be cut using a plasterboard saw or by scoring with a sharp knife and snapping the board over a straight edge. Holes for switch or socket boxes should be cut out before the boards are fixed using a utility saw or sharp knife. When cutting boards, power and hand tools should be used with care and in accordance with the manufacturers’ recommendations.
Fixing
Fix boards with decorative side out to receive joint treatment or a skim plaster finish. Lightly butt boards together. Never force boards into position. Install fixings not closer than 13mm from cut edges and 10mm from bound edges. Position cut edges to internal angles whenever possible, removing paper burrs with fine sandpaper. Stagger horizontal and vertical board joints between layers by a minimum of 600mm. Locate boards to the centre line of framing where this supports board edges or ends.
Effect of temperature
Gyproc WallBoard is unsuitable for use in areas subject to continuously damp or humid conditions and must not be used to isolate dampness. Plasterboards are not suitable for use in temperatures above 49°C, but can be subjected to freezing conditions without risk of damage.

Delivery Nationwide T&C's
Brooks offer free delivery on online sales when you spend €250 or more
We deliver small parcels nationwide. For larger items that require truck delivery, we operate delivery zones. Please enter your Eircode to check if your area is covered.
If you are outside the delivery zones listed on our website, email [email protected] for a delivery quote, please note we deliver within the Republic of Ireland only.
Orders under €250 carry a delivery charge of €50, and smaller items have a €12 charge. These costs will be shown during the checkout process.
Brooks provide a kerb side delivery service. Your order will be placed in the nearest safe location, and some trucks can use a crane where it is safe to do so.
Most orders are dispatched within two to four working days. Specialty items or products ordered in may take a little longer. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Orders placed at the weekend will be processed from the next working day.
We aim to deliver using Brooks vehicles wherever possible, although some deliveries may be made by courier or haulage company.

Brooks is happy to refund or exchange any full priced item within 28 days of your order date, excluding delivery charges, in line with distance selling regulations.
All items must be returned unopened and in resalable condition.
Product specific returns information
- Flooring can be returned within 28 days if the boxes are unopened. A 20 per cent restocking charge applies.
- Doors can be returned within 28 days if they are unopened. A 20 per cent restocking charge applies.
- Velux products can be returned if the box is unopened. A 25 per cent restocking charge applies.
- Non stocked items carry a 15 per cent restocking charge.
- Bagged powders cannot be returned as storage conditions cannot be verified.
A full refund or exchange can only be guaranteed if the item is returned within the time frames stated above. Items received after the allowed period will be returned to the original delivery address.
Returning your item
The cost of returning an item is your responsibility unless the product is faulty or an incorrect item was supplied. In these cases, postage costs will be refunded up to the value of the original delivery charge.
Items should be returned using an insured and traceable service, and you should keep note of any tracking numbers. We are not responsible for damage caused during transit, so please ensure items are securely packaged.

Please allow up to ten working days after we receive the goods for your refund to be processed.
The return delivery address can be found on your delivery docket.
Delivery rates vary depending on product type and location within the Republic of Ireland.
Please note that any damages must be reported within 24 hours of receiving your order.
